Sprint Series on Sunday 3rd May 2009 A cold, gusty north-westerly wind created exciting sailing conditions at Gorleston on Sunday but entries were down on recent weeks as some competitors were put off by the prospect of capsizing in a chilly North Sea. In the two morning races honours were shared by the RS400 of Martin Browne and Di Holmes and the RS500 of Phil Highfield and Tamsin Butcher. After lunch, with the wind becoming more shifty, Richard Fryer and Carol Smalls came to the fore, winning both afternoon races ahead of Browne and Holmes. Race 2 Race 3 Race 4 Full Results:
