Sailing at the Club

GYGSC is located on the Gorleston side of the harbour mouth. The clubhouse is next to the Pier Hotel and fronts onto the promenade.

The dinghy Park is very secure as it is surrounded by a six foot high fence and is overlooked by the harbour masters office

The club takes safety very seriously and has recently invested a new RIB to compliment the existing two dorys. Rescue boats and the Committee boat are equipped with radios to assist in race management and safety.

A ramp located near the club runs between the promenade and the beach. This provides access to the sea which allows easy launching in most tides and weather situations.

We sail a mixture of demanding courses to suit all types of dinghy so come on down to Gorleston and see for yourself.

There are many classes of dinghy at the club including, 505 , Fireball, Javelin, Laser4000, Phantom, RS300, RS400, RS600, RS800,  B14,  Contender, Laser, Laser EPS and Hobie Tiger
